I am a norwegian artist who paints whatever comes to mind from time to time. I began as a portrait painter, but as nature, animals, and surrealism increasingly captured my imagination, they progressively influenced my work — or perhaps they have always been present.

Starting out with portraiture, focusing on rendering skin tones with varying warmth and light, has made me deeply attentive to texture in all my paintings. I strive for my work to evoke a tactile experience, allowing viewers to feel the surfaces—whether soft or hard—through the painted medium. That said, I maintain a relaxed approach to both color and realism, without strict adherence to any particular school or method.
